BamaLoveSoul presents: Wilson Pickett - A Funky Situation (The Remixes)

Via BamaLoveSoul

"Wilson Pickett, an icon and Alabama native, has been so influential to modern music but with the growing amount of microwave talent, it has become so easy to forget the pioneers. With the assistance of producers and emcees from across the globe, we’ve created a compilation that will place Wilson Pickett on the tip of your tongue and encourage you to research the man that evenJames Brown gives up the stage to."

This mix resurfaced on BamaLoveSoul recently to my extreme delight. This is a classic mix that you can vibe out to from start to finish! It's just good music.

"Here’s a CD that I did back in 2003 after learning of the death of soul singer Edwin Starr. "
