Mar - Single (Mar Variations)

"I grew up with so many different music genres. With my dad as a professional musician and mom literally starting and ending days with the radio as her bible, I got exposed to music as a whole package. With this as the foundation of Mar Variations, I can take any joint or lyric and flip it the way I would love to hear it." via Mar Variations.

For the first of Mar Variations, Mar puts his spin on 'Single' by Lil' Wayne. This man is brilliant.

DJ Gavin Boyd hails from my fair city of Brisbane, Australia. He's supported the likes of ?uestlove (The Roots), Maseo (De La Soul), Dam-Funk, Anthony David and many many more! Basically, he knows his sh*t and this Common Tribute Mix is another sweet mix to add to the collection! Enjoy!

Jesse Boykins III Feat. Smoke DZA - Runaway (4RM A G.O.O.D Man)

Anything Jesse Boykins III touches turns to soulful gold. Even Kanye West's 'Runaway'.

Just Listen!

Runaway: a person or vehicle that is running out of control

"I feel like most of us, try and compromise with love and put ourselves thru relationships that are clearly not good for our health,

which drives us to do things to pacify the confusion. When the overall best thing to do is let it go." - Jesse Boykins III

DJ Rahdu - The Soul Master (2003 Mix)

This mix resurfaced on BamaLoveSoul recently to my extreme delight. This is a classic mix that you can vibe out to from start to finish! It's just good music.

"Here’s a CD that I did back in 2003 after learning of the death of soul singer Edwin Starr. "
